A few weeks ago, I heard more about "Exit Through The Giftshop" and found it on Netflix, watched it, was totally delighted, watched it again with Elaine, and then had a bunch of creative friends see it. The story is insightful, inspiring, and quite surprising, and if you ever doubt your own creativity or the value of your creativity, see this! We also learned a lot about Banksy and the world of street art, which I think is the best place for art anyway!
Saw the documentary "Art and Copy" on Netflix last night, was totally amazed to realize there are people who approach advertising as art and entertainment, and many times have created advertising that caused radical improvements in the quality of the clients work or products. Inspiring and insightful, especially if you are interested in the world of promotion, marketing, getting ideas to people, shifting the publics awareness, or almost anything to do with society and exposure.
